Thermocold TL 6 split cooling unit for use in cold rooms up to 8000 liters

The model is suitable for self-built cold rooms or Thermocold's element cold rooms. Thermocold two-part split cooling unit is installed as two separate units. The compressor part is placed away in one room where it is not a nuisance to the surrounding living rooms. Placed for example in a laundry room, technical room, basement, attic, storage room or garage. These rooms also receive heat from the compressor part. Inside the cold room, you choose a wall or ceiling-mounted cooling part. This provides much greater flexibility with regard to installation solutions. The winter operation kit should be installed at a temperature colder than +10°C

The installation must be carried out by authorized refrigeration installers. The refrigeration units are rated according to a cold room built up from our cold room elements with Thermocold cold room door. Volume is stated in liters, with up to a maximum size. Cold room built from elements:

Cold rooms built from elements have better insulation than a cold room built from wood. Our 5cm thick cold room elements correspond to 10cm of insulation. Here you don't have to think about how the room should be built. Thermocold's cold room elements are quick to assemble and have a surface that prevents bacteria from multiplying.

Cold rooms built of wood : Make sure that the room is built according to NS (Norwegian standard) or better. NS specifies the minimum standard for self-built cold rooms, which describes the correct construction of cold rooms built of wood. At lower temperatures, which can occur in e.g. cold basements, garages, etc., winter control is needed for the unit to operate optimally or not be damaged. NB! Different cold room doors, worn door seals, glass panels or glass doors in the room will require a different calculation of performance, contact us or a dealer for an assessment of the performance of the cooling unit.
